The portable Y.SMART X-ray inspection systems are characterized by their low weight and compact dimensions, making them particularly suitable for field use. The applied high-frequency technology ensures high stability of the X-ray radiation, resulting in short exposure times. The control unit is microprocessor-controlled and housed in a mechanically robust, splash-proof casing.

X-ray parameters (kV, mA, exposure time) can be entered either directly via the keyboard or by selecting one of up to 100 previously stored exposure programs. All operating parameters and error messages are displayed on a two-line alphanumeric display. The warning lamp in the tank, pressure, and temperature are monitored. The control unit recognizes the individual tank units and automatically selects the required drive-in program. Data from the last 100 exposures are recorded and can be displayed directly on the display or output via a printer.

The portable Y.SMART X-ray inspection systems have low energy consumption and are insensitive to voltage fluctuations. The thin and lightweight connection and power cables are equipped with impact-resistant plugs. Together with the robust metal-ceramic X-ray tubes, this results in very reliable, easy-to-handle portable X-ray inspection systems.
